My idiot friend is saying he thinks Kyrie Irving is better than Steph Curry.

What do I do?

Only an opinion this stupid could make me adamantly defend Curry.

Did you just call Kyrie a better defender than someone?

Kyrie has stretches where he's the best on the team.

Curry's pure shooting is the difference but Kyrie is phenomenal in his own rights.

Like flat earth truthers, you hear about these people existing, but it's still shocking when you actually meet one.

I feel like people try to weigh everything the same, but Steph Curry's ability to shoot has literally revolutionized the fricking sport.

Kyrie had the higher floor coming into the league but Steph passed him up around 2013-14 and never looked back.

Kyrie's more physically talented, can't deny that. And he's only 25.

You should ask him "better at what?"

If he says more than dribbling than he's crazy.

Curry is miles better than Kyrie defensively. Which isn't really saying much cause Kyrie is maybe the worst top 50-ish player defensively.

Curry is also capable of making passes in the pick and roll. Kyrie shows flashes from time to time but far too often he looks for his own shot as the first, second, and third option.

true, at end of day... kyrie shot 40.1% from 3 and curry 41.1% from 3 and kyrie had higher FT% last year. Kyrie's handle is unreal.

When considering attempts and the number of "horrible" shots that Curry puts up, it is remarkable that he is better than Irving.

A. Curry's handle is insanely good as well. Though he is second to Kyrie there.

B. Curry took 10 3's a game at that percentage, Kyrie 6 a game

C. Year before last, Curry shot 11 3's per game at 45%, Kyrie 5 3's at 32%

On the court, maybe there's not a huge difference overall... But there's definitely a difference off the court K Irving seems like a head case with strong diva tendencies, while Steph is as smooth as an ice cube and twice as cool. I'd take Steph over Kyrie on my team all day long.

You shun him. This is the only answer. Shun his arse.
