My Bowl Game Fix

Dear College Football,
I have THE fix for the bowl games:
1. Do away with conference tie ins.
2. We have the Top 4 Playoffs [1v4 + 2v3] for the Natty. Schedule every remaining bowl game according to the rankings, into 9 groups of 4 (for a total of 10 groups of 4):
[5v8 + 6v7] [9v12 + 10v11]
[13v16 + 14v15] [17v20 + 18v19]
[21v24 + 22v23] [25v28 + 26v27]
[29v32 + 30v31] [33v36 + 34v35]
[37v40 + 38v39]
This gives us 20 1st round appropriately ranked match-up "semi-finals". Then another 10 2nd round ranked match-up "finals" in each grouping of 4.
This gives 40 teams a chance at 2 post-season bowl games + tropgies, thus giving teams more opportunities against worthy opponents, for a total of 30 bowl games (we currently have approx. 40 for 2019...)
Bowl game trophies will now mean MORE, given that teams can now win up to 2 per year.
3. Rotate the traditional NY6/National Championship bowl sites as you currently do then have the remaining bowls bid for the high rankings match-ups that they want year by year (capitalism at its finest). If the market wants more than 30 games-you can even bid out as many games/groups of 4 as you can sell all the way down to all the 6-win teams that want to accept them (this year there were 79 bowl eligible teams for 78 slots that give us 39 games). Make as much money as the market wants to pay out.
4. The lower ranked 1st round groups of 4 can still take place earlier in the bowl season. The higher ranked 1st round groups can happen a week or so later. Then the 2nd rounds can fill the void left between Christmas + NYD + the week before/leading up to the National Title game.
Under this plan you will earn far more money by way of tv ratings, ticket sales, & sponsorships.
Media outlets will have a Field [Month] of talking about every single match-up with much more fervor due to the bowl game result having actual meaning.
The programs will also use the bowl game results + trophies as recruiting ammunition all off-season. The consumer market will give us the answer as to the total number of bowl games that are needed/wanted/cared about.
What do you think, MSB?

OP copied it from somewhere and didn't remove text/emoticons that aren't supported on this forum

Care to expound as to why?
Additionally, what genius best post of the decade idea do you have?

Take it the next step further and take the final rankings and build your bracket so that we can see what teams would have played each other. My first thought is that there would be more rematches that people don’t care to see

Already handled that concern in my OP.
Next thoughts?

just say no team can play in a bowl with less then 8 wins and all bowls will be good bowls again
there are barely even watchable now and if they do have a 8 or better win team they are playing a 6-6 team

The OP's original breakdown pretty much breaks it down to 8+ wins or better. So, looks like you're on board with him.
