I'm tired of the AJ hawk bashing on here. He led his team in tackles. I know you're saying his defense isn't any good, but he wouldn't be the reason for that from what I've seen.

JL IMO will be servicable in a good system for him. I could see him fitting in perfectly with the Patriots

Muauluga reminds me of these guys. And it isn't just the hair.

how many of them were laurinitus tackles though, ie 7 yards down the field?

How much of that is his fault?

Know what makes great linebackers? Great defensive lines.

LOL

so could every college player in the ncaa right now

dude, i dont have it out for hawk, but i dont think hes that good

i have a die hard packers fan friend in shreveport louisiana that thinks he sucks too, and he tries to watch as many games as possible and watches more than the average fan. and even he thinks he sucks, and he would probably take a shot in the face from brett if he could

I agree. I work with some Packer fans and they love him. I think JL would fit fine a 3-4 system.

I can agree to that. I think Rey will be a beast.

fair enough Ron, but he was the safest take for the Packers at the spot, and has done more thus far to justify a top 5 pick than Young, Ferguson, and Bush IMO

Why is it everyone hates white LBs in the NFL?

They havent been bred to have amazing fricking genes. Might suck to be a reality but unfortunately it is.

No kidding. JL was the only one who showed up on OSU's defense vs. us and Florida.

Right, and thats because the people in front of him played like they were afraid to hit anybody. Its not like you can fault him for having 18 tackles. A quarter of them were probably pile jumpers though - he fricking owns at that.

rockets, about Gholston, he had no business leaving school early TBH. He had one monster season against a bunch of shitty opponents and jumped. The year before that I dont even know if I knew his name. From a financial stand point he had to go when he was a sure top 10 pick, but from a development perspective it was a bad move. I think he'll bust.
