This WR went to college in Louisiana and spent some time on the New Orleans Saints. While on the only other NFL team he ever played for, he and his teammate broke the record for most combined receptions in a season. They were also the first teammates to pickup 1,000 receiving yards each in 4 straight seasons.

Good guess as Matt Flynn did go to college in Louisiana and did spend some time with the Saints. Where you’re wrong though is that he failed to record a single reception in his NFL career. He also played on more than 2 NFL teams. And he was a QB, not a WR.

Bingo.
He has the second most 50+ yard plays for the Vikings, behind Randy Moss.
Vikings drafted him in the 3rd round with a draft pick acquired in their huge trade for Herschel Waker from Dallas.
He went to the Saints in 2000, then back to the Vikings in 2001, then back to the Saints in 2002 for his final season.
I think it’s easy to forget the WR he was and the passing offense Minnesota had before Moss showed up.
