As a Pens fan I hope Ottawa at least gets a point so we get the Isles.
Sens-Pens would be a good series though and pretty heated with the Cooke-Karlsson fiasco.

seriously I have a lot of respect for the Habs, they have been our biggest rivals for like 75 years but its a `steel sharpens steel`thing...Habs fans know we care just as much about our club as they do theirs...I am sure Pens fans are great fans and all but there is nothing like an original six fan they are so infatuated, so crazy about their team...like when the Blackhawks won and a million people hit the streets to celebrate...sorry no frickin way that happens in Anaheim or Phoenix or Dallas or T-Bay

Gotta start somewhere not everyone can be an original 6 team man. I get what you're saying though - it would be like the celebration that would happen if the Carolina panthers ever won the Super Bowl compared to the cowboys or packers.
People don't understand the hate between Montreal and Toronto. I knew two roommates in college that stabbed each other with pencils over an argument regarding the validity of a cheap Wendel Clarke goal back in the day....

I guess I'll have to cheer for Boston today just so we get the Habs-Leafs series. If the B's fail to win, I get another reason to hate them, so that's a positive as well. Also, the idea of Sens-Pens is pretty delicious. That series could get ugly.

What's intriguing about the 3rd place capitals is the 5 wins against top 10 teams and a schedule that ranks last in the league. I guess the playoffs is where you guys start playing NHL teams
On the bright side this is a new rangers team and very different from past years: this team lolligags more and you can take penalties all day long because the rangers aren't going to score on the PP anyways.

I would still tear off my shirt and punch you in the face if you diss Wendel...his destruction of Ulf still makes me giggle with happiness...I never really got the relationship till i saw Leafs vs. Habs in MTL and met tons of Leafs fans from Newfoundland that drove for 36 hours to pay 900 a ticket to sit behind the Habs bench so they could yell at players
