The Clippers and USC used to play in LA Sports Arena, something like that
The NBA also once had:
The Charlotte Coliseum
The Richfield Coliseum
The Seattle Coliseum
The Oakland Arena

Love catching games there from my luxury box seats in the Ross Neltner nook.

It pains me to say it b/c it was such a nice baseball stadium (that did not need to be replaced) but The Ballpark in Arlington was always an incredibly lame name.

Pretty sure FIU and FAU's basketball arenas are called the FIU Arena and the FAU Arena.

On the flip side, I always thought the Salt Palace was the most fun NBA arena name.
The Rose Garden was pretty good too. My wife and I took a trip to Portland and I pointed the Rose Garden out. She was utterly confused because she did not see a rose garden. When it changed to the Moda Center, it downgraded so much.

Fennis Dempo TYFYS
and on topic, I’d much rather a plain name like Memorial Stadium instead of whateverinsurance.com Park.
