Didn't Lennox Lewis and Byrd KO'd him? Or was that his brother?

Wow. 400+ total bases 5 times during that stretch?!?! That has to be a record. And I would assume several WS championships during that stretch.
With numbers like that, its no wonder they never gave the guy a day off work.

Barry Sanders 1989-1998:
Yards: 15,269
TD's: 99
YPC: 5
Also had 2,921 yards receiving and 10 TD's, truly the GOAT.

The dude was a BEAST and could have played at least three more years... If he wanted to he would have the rushing record that would have NEVER been touched.....
PLUS he played for DETROIT............ Think about it..........

I know! He was a animal. I really don't think we will see anyone like him for at LEAST the next 50 years.. Truly amazing what he could do on the field

Ty Cobb
Ty Cobb's stats are truly remarkable. The career records he held were amazing and more impressive is how long they stood. It took decades for some of his records to be touched. Stolen bases, hits, doubles, runs. Some of those records stood for 70 and 80 years. And some will never be broken.
