Long relief pitcher for baseball.

You're most likely coming in because the game is lopsided one way or another.

In the off chance that a starting pitcher gets hurt and you have to come in in a tight game in the 2nd inning, no one will remember that you came in the game and gave up a bunch of runs. They'll only remember that the starting pitcher got hurt and the game was chalked up as a loss from that point forward.

Ex: I have no idea who came in to pitch when Eric Walker got hurt in the CWS and we Oregon State blew LSU out. I just remember that Eric Walker got hurt and we were doomed

Punter has got to be up there, while a great punter can have an enormous impact on the game, if you screw up everyone pretty much forgets about it 10 seconds later.

Punter would be nowhere near the top of my list.

Punters have a high pressure job, mainly bc their screw-ups are magnified bc people expect them to perform well every time they are on the field. "You have one job!!" is what the average fan says about kickers and punters, so their errors are magnified.

Also, punters are more often than not punting in their own team's side of the field, which adds pressure bc a poor punt yields an almost certain scoring opportunity for the other team.
