Since the Browns have been a franchise for over 70 years and have no Super Bowl appearances and lose in spectacular fashion.

The current Cleveland Browns are not the same team that's been around since 1934. The Ravens were that team and they have won 2 superbowls. In Cleveland they won 4 NFL championships prior to the superbowl era and played in 7 of 10 NFL Championship games in the 50s. The current team has only been playing since 1999.

The Hawks are terrible too. I mean, Atlanta is one of the most talent rich basketball areas in the country. A bit ironic.

When I was a lad, NBA allowed teams to take a local as their first pick.

Philadelphia roster was full of locals.
Fwiw Matty goukas who was NCAA poy and local St Joe's, and played role on a NBA champ,(and had a lot of triple doubles) was son of Matt goukas, who was on Philadelphia roster their first NBA champ in 1947.

I'll throw in my White Sox. Yeah, they won in 2005, but no one outside of Chicago and Houston gave a shite.

And it was downright disrespectful that when the Cubs were in the series a couple of years ago they kept harping on how baseball in Chicago had been in a drought ignoring the Sox.

They didn't piss it away.

The motherfrickers cheapshotted Favre into a cripple.

EDIT: Nothing personal to you Biggio. A friend and I were watching it and getting pissed off at the clear targeting of Favre only to find out later it was indeed intentional. Sad to see them rob a legend of his phoenix moment.

I think Vikes, backed up by what craigbiggio posted.

Non-professional: Aggie Football is eternally cursed because the season doesn’t end on September 30.
