More pressure? Elite 8 game or Final 4 semifinal.

Probably not the popular choice but I’m saying Elite 8 game. Reaching the final 4 is a huge accomplishment so I can see how you might be more loose and feel like you are playing with house money in the semifinals.

In my experience, once you get this deep into what seems like a pipe dream of a tournament, you reach this perfectly balanced feeling of what do I have to lose/I’m about to fricking ball out.

It’s the earlier rounds where the pressure can creep into how well you’re thinking and moving.

Elite 8 because by that point the fatigue of the last two weeks of travel and elite play between conference tournaments and first two rounds travel all kind of culminates on these games.. No time to really prep for your opponent and Final 4 on the line… a lot to manage

Elite 8...especially if the previous games were challenging or close. A lot more stress.

Suppose it may different for a lower seed or mid major with nothing to lose

Elite 8

The tricky thing going in to the final four is how you take advantage of those extra couple days off since you don’t play till Saturday

Finals then final four. Kind of weird to think a lower level has more pressure

I’d have to say Elite 8 as well.

This is the weird thing about college basketball: Unless you’re Kentucky, Kansas, UNC or Duke, making the Final Four is like winning a National Championship.

Top 4 out of 358 seems pretty fricking good to me.

Probably comparable to winning a national title in football in terms of depth of competition because of all those damn mid majors that can beat anybody.

Remembering some of the storylines and commentary about Bo Ryan before getting to his first Final Four, I'm going to say Elite 8.
