Lopez sharp for Minnesota early. Overcomes the error on 19 pitches. Gausman on the mound for Toronto.

Gausman closes the 1st on 27 pitches. 2-0 Twins. Largest post-season home game lead for Minnesota since 2002.

I still have nightmares about 2011. Part of my childhood was those awesome Ranger teams. I need a Rangers WS soon pretty bad. Looks like we will make a run for the next decade.

Twins have won ONE playoff series since defeating the Braves in the 1991 WS. They beat the A's in the Moneyball movie year...I always laugh at the fact they had a smaller payroll than Oakland had.
