Rangers have plenty of high ceiling arms at the A level. I'm sure they're getting someone pretty good no matter who it is.

I know. Espically since we seemed to have a chance at the LAD's top pitching prospect

Or the fact that we had a current big leaguer from Atlanta last week until Dempster vetoed.

I don't know what the deal with the Rangers is yet, but good on Theo for not caving to the Dodgers.

It's pretty obvious that Theo really wanted someone highly rated in the Dodger's system since they talked for 2 weeks and couldn't get it done.

Both pretty decent prospects.

Hendricks was a draft pick last year and has been dealing. I think he is a sub 3.00 ERA.

Villanueva is highly thought of. Good power. Good speed. Good player. Just blocked back of the talent in the Rangers system.

Congrats Cubs. Good deal for all.

Allen Webster, the Dodgers #2 prospect. I'm glad the Dodgers turned them down. Webster projects as a solid #2 starter and could be in the bigs as early as next year.

In other words, he's Ryan Dempster, but 13 years younger and a helluva lot cheaper.

Hendricks has probably been one of the bigger surprises in the whole system.

I don't know much about what he features, but he doesn't walk many people.

Kevin Goldstein @Kevin_Goldstein Amazing trade for Royals. I might rather have Donnie Joseph than Broxton in the big leagues right now.
