The elephant with sunglasses is a batting practice hat logo.

I had the A's elephant logo as a sleeve patch on my little league uniform when I was 12. It was cheesy even back then. I think the Blue Jay holding the bat is a close second. My favorite older ones are the Braves' lowercase A and the Brewers' mitt.

This list makes me wonder what current logos will be the cool retro logos of the future. If the Nationals ever go a different direction, that interlocked DC with the stars and stripes would be a popular throwback.

really not a fan of the Giants batting practice helmet (the G). but they've been really simple and consistent over the years.

Never really realized how many shades of blue are in the logos through the years...

the Brewers and Astros seriously need to go back to a previous logo. the current ones are terrible.

I don't think the new Brewers' logo is terrible, but it's definitely not as good as the older ones.

Nice find, hendo.

Agreed.

Teams that need to go back to an older one IMO:

Bluejays---bluejays are blue, not black.
M's
Brewers----glove logo can't be beat.
Marlins----too much black IMO, teal is better.
Diamondbacks----Enough red teams already. the pastels was at least unique.
Astros----see d-backs. The blue and orange H with just a plain white jersey or the blue and gold was cool.
