Cuse-Michigan should be a good one. I have to assume that gets the primetime slot since Louisville-Wichita State should be about 80-55 at best.

Man that 1st half was an all out battle and lot of fun to watch. 2nd half was a different story
Sulaimon and Kelly were absolute garbage today. That dismal shooting performance in the 2nd half was the only thing IMO that couldve brought this team down..and it most definetly did. Also have to give credit to Pitino and that swarming defense that was stifling to say the least
Sucks that this is Curry, Plumlee, and Kelly's last ride but the future does look bright with Cook, Thornton, Sulaimon, Jefferson, and Hairston back. Add Jabari Parker and Matt Jones as freshman and this team can still be in the same position next year

Pitino made the right adjustments. He stop trapping and leaving shooters open. He did exactly what you have to do to beat Duke, play tough man defense and force them to take long, contested jumpers.

If not for UK's stellar recruiting class, Duke would be pre-season number 1. Hood will also be playing next year. 1-4 this team is better next year than this year. But with Randle committing to UK, they may be pre-season number 1. ANd unlike this year's terribly overrated group that I repeatedly called out from April to November, the 2013 crop of Wildcats will be very good.
I have to assume Dieng goes pro now. Same with JR's little bro. So that should set Louisville back big time next season.

This is definitely's Louisville's year, and unlike certain pretenders (Indiana, NC State), they took full advantage of their talent

Yeah, they were my pre-season number 1, followed by IU. Michigan State was my third team, I think.
I was surprised by how well Duke, Georgetown, Cuse, and Kansas played this year. Didn't think any would be top 10 mainstays (I know Cuse wasn't for most of February and early March but look at them now).

What do they have coming back and coming in that makes them so darn good?

Duke? Sulaimon and Cook, a top 5 national freshman at power forward, a 5-star transfer from Mississippi State who sat out this year but was pretty damn good as a freshman in Starkville, and their bench players.
The big question mark is who plays at 5. I know it sounds crazy, but I think it should be Amile Jefferson, even if he is 200 pounds.
The biggest positive for Duke is that these guys are all fast (other than Cook). K is very flexible on offense, but on defense he depends on athletes creating turnovers. All of his big teams other than 2010 were ilke that. 2004, 2001, 1999, 1991 & 1992.
If Jefferson is able to play center, I really like this team next year.

Don't forget ab Andre Dawkins who is probably the best 3pt shooter on the team..

No kidding? They played at the same prep school in CT. Went the past 3 years thinking Russ was Earl's younger brother.

chris and jr went to same prep school in jersey. russ in CT. it's confusing because chris and russ both played at louisville and are really close in age. at least im pretty sure that's all right.
ETA: i googled the prep school shite. didnt know where any of them went

Okay, this is getting really confusing since JR went to so many schools.
JR attended 5 high schools. Three were Jersey public schools. Then he went to St. Benedicts. For some reason, I always thought he went to South Kent after getting kicked out of St. Benedicts, but that may have been someone else. Andray Blatche played at South Kent as did Dorrell Wright. I think they may have all been in the same draft.
Chris Smith played at St. Benedicts.
Russ Smith played at that South Kent prep school that I always thought JR had also attended.
