Animals are animals.

And I have two dogs and two cats. To me, their lives are as valuable as the birds and squirrels in our backyard. Unfortunately, they don't always agree with that, especially the younger of the two dogs who tries to "play" with other, smaller animals...

But my point is that people are blowing this out of proportion. The man did his time, and should be allowed to live the rest of his life. And yes, people HAVE and STILL DO scream for his death. That's upsetting.

Regarding homelessness, I'm just saying that if the people who are outraged about Vick and dogfighting would direct their outrage towards substantial social problems, like hunger and homelessness, we may be able to build a stronger society.

So if you were forced to chose between one of your dogs lives and one of the birds in your backyard you wouldn't care? I find that very hard to believe.

I wouldn't want him to die but I thikn he is a miserable human being who gets what he deserves if people do call him out for what he did. He dug his own grave, now he can lay in it. Michael Vick will get zero sympathy from me.

Didn't Marvin Harrison fired a gun and his stray bullets hit innocent bystanders. Nobody seemed pissed about that or want him banned from the NFL. I bet if those bullets hit some dogs they'd be outraged.lol. Dogs life> Human life.

This is apples and oranges. If Marvin Harrison's stray bullet accidently hit someone and then he went and eletricuted them, body slammed them till they were almost dead, then hung them it would be a much bigger story than Michael Vick's dogs. You people are clueless. This has been said over, and over, and over, and over, and over in this thread. it is not that dogs are more important than people. Everyone knows that is not true, but the fact that Michael Vick is evil enough to get off on torturing these defensless animals is what makes this so horrific

No it doesn't. You people defending Vick are just too retarded to get the point of the thread and keep bringing up things that have nothing to do with the point.

It completely IS a cultural thing. Portis' comments that "it's just dogs - damn" is the way that he was raised.

Well there you have it, Clinton Portis is a piece of shite just like Vick who was raised by morons.

it's funny that people call us hypocrites for thinking that what Vick did was horrible. If you don't think what he did was god awful you need to have your head examined.

Once again I agree TEXASTIGER. It shows how evil of an individual that piece of trash Vick is.
