See, that only holds if the Warriors were in closer games in the regular season and needed to keep their pace up.

The Warriors had an average margin of victory of 11 points per game in the season. It was an average margin of victory of 6 vs the Cavs.

In their regular season wins, they averaged winning by 17 points a game, so just as much motive to ease off the pedal.

Even there, your theory doesn't hold. They played the same tempo despite averaging a blowout win in 67 games.

Wrong it’s not a theory it happened where as what you’re doing is trying to piece together other totally unconnected events and create a theory around that.
