BAMA wouldn’t be looking for a transfer QB if they felt like they had one in-house they liked
So what about them trying to get drake maye when they had Bryce last year? Guess they didn’t have one they liked last year? Or maybe they just see TVD has a rocket arm and QB potential and want to bring in people to compete. Or maybe it’s all bullshite and they’re fine with what they have?

?
The rumor was that Bama was trying to get Drake Maye as the 2023 starter because Bryce Young is going to the NFL and will be drafted next week.

Why would Louisville fans be discussing Holstein?

can't believe that for some on here this is what they want CFB to be.
it sucks dick and everyone knows it, but if you object to it publicly in any way then you are shredded for it.
Players getting pulled away by other schools via $$$ was already happening for decades. NIL just brought it out in to the open. I don't see why it's such a problem for the curtain to have been pulled back on stuff everyone knew was going on.

True, but it's also the transferring without penalty that's changing the sport. Everyone's up for grabs now. It wasn’t like this before.

I agree that it makes it rough for some schools to keep their talent however as long as the coaches are allowed to pick up and leave at a moments notice for whatever reason they feel like the players should be able to as well.

The coaches sign contracts during their free agency that obligate them for a time. They are not moving at the speed of light, and unlike these players, can get their NIL money and blow town.
The NCAA has made transferring without conscience possible simply by doing nothing. The new Czar is claiming he is going to address this phenomenon quickly. He better had.

Halftime in Tuscaloosa for A-Day...
Milroe: 9-19, 117 yards passing, 33 rush, 2 INT
Simpson: 9-16, 85 yards passing, 52 rush, 1 INT
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that they’re probably not super happy about the position.

College football really needs to get into the contract game to balance the stealing of players.
