Jha isn’t a PHD.

When you can’t get basic facts right it is hard to take you seriously.

Awesome!Name calling is soooooo much easier than discussing both sides of an issue.

I provided links with skeptical analysis from PhD's
and scientists.Yep, "full retard" all right.

No. You called Bob Ley a sjw. So it is you who went and named called. You made full determination on him complete with ridiculous assumptions.

That is why you went full retard.

You have no interest in discussion. You provide a book from a writer on the American Spectator, published by Regnery.

You couldn’t be more blind to your bias if you tried.

So being an MD invalidates what he says?

Are you disputing his POV?

So I'm the one who used "name calling"?

quote:

I've made "no assumptions" about what he said about this issue...I've watched "outside the lines" numerous
times regarding this issue and he's yet to present another prespective.

Sorry,if you don't think this issue has been highly politicized or one-sided but it has.

I've given you links and studies that backs up what I stated and your only response was posting a MD wasn't a
PhD and calling me a "retard"

Typical

So now the book is "invalidated" because of the publisher?

Did you read the book?

And I'm the one with bias?

I also provided 2 other links with studies involving MD's and scientists. The only thing you disputed was my incorrect title.

Yes. When you called Ley a sjw. That is an ad hom attack. Without any basis or merit.

And pretending you have watched all of Ley’s work or that you know his positions is stupid.

More to the point, there is no sjw factor to his reporting on it. Where is the social justice part?

You didn’t provide anything of substance. The buffalo study was about onset dementia. On 21 athletes. Lol

A boom by a conservative from a conservative publisher. The only one in this thread making it a political issue is you.

You have continued with your full retard act.

Nope. I didnf say invalidated.

I pointed out that you presented a book by a known conservative author for a strictly conservative publisher, one that makes money selling to a specific audience.

Yet you pretend that it is non biased. You are a sheep gobbling up product.

I don’t recall the other study, but the Buffalo study is one among many others. More importantly it was done on 21 players. Even a simpleton like yourself should be able to recognize how small that is.

You're right,ESPN has absolutely no political
bias...kinda like yourself,right?
BTW,here is one of his sanctimonious rants involving Tom Brady and his concussions. LINK...nothing to see here, correct?

God almighty, and you called me a "simpleton" From the study:

quote:

Most athletes with CTE damage do experience early onset dementia,

Do you not understand why this was studied?

Small sample size but it was the first study of an age
related subset.

quote:

did not find evidence of early onset dementia in the retired players, which would be expected with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The comprehensive, case-control study is believed to be the first age-matched athlete comparison designed to identify in retired living athletes cognitive symptoms or imaging findings that would indicate the presence of early onset dementia.

quote:

The only one in this thread making it a political issue is you.

Yea and you and ESPN don't have a political perspective
at all,correct?

quote:

You have continued with your full retard act.

And here we go again. You obviously skimmed over the headline of the Buffalo study or you wouldn't have made the idiotic comment about onset dementia and yet I'm the "retard"

Why do you think this so called "study" was parroted by ESPN,CNN,USA Today and time yet not one word about the Buffalo study on ESPN.

Do you not understand the bias and how unscientific the
1st study was?

Exactly what you did because it was a

known conservative author for a strictly conservative publisher, one that makes money selling to a specific audience

BTW here's ANOTHER paper/study published by an MD and a PHD about the complexities of CTE amd what we don't know about it LINK

You might want to actually read this one.
