I think its closer to the old Conference USA when you had Bobby Petrino, Gary Patterson, Mark Dantonio, Jeff Bower, Jim Levitt, Art Briles, and Steve Logan as coaches

CUSA basketball used to be fun. The 2004 and 2005 seasons were good. You had Cincinnati with Huggins, Louisville with Pitino, Memphis with Cal, UAB when they were good, UNC Charlotte when they were good, Marquette with Crean and Wade, DePaul when they didn't suck, and Saint Louis was pretty solid as well
2003-2004 and 2004-2005 CUSA basketball was a legit power conference
