Nix, not in the same class. Throw Jayden Daniels in there too while you’re at it.

Shedeur Sanders reminds me a lot of Geno Smith in college. Geno had similar size/athleticism/put up tons of yards at West Virginia. Each throw a very nice similar ball.

Sanders I think will rate higher bc he has the NFL genes and has been around NFL football his entire life. What Geno lacks, I think Sanders has which is the mental part of QB’ing. QB is mainly just who can make the fastest decision most accurately.

What makes you say that? He’s currently a starting NFL Qb.

Kiper said Johnny Manziel should have gone number one in 2014 so lets pump the brakes on what this "draft guru" says. Especially 2 games into the season

Also:

"Kiper declared that if Clausen, a former top recruit and star at Notre Dame who fell to the second round of the NFL draft, was not a successful NFL quarterback within seven years, he would retire"

Now we're listening to the media & ESPN hype machine !

This guy didn't have Sanders ranked 2 weeks ago despite him being statistically superior to McNair in every way ( except rushing). McNair never stepped foot on an FBS field, but Kiper " needed to see more " from Sanders. I guess he didn't want to miss the hype train.

What an unbelievably stupid comment

Hunter could have gone anywhere and been a successful DB, but maybe Shedeur developed

All of these athletes could have gone to any school & been successful & Sanders is the exact same player who threw for 71%( over 13 games) a few months ago . Could ccomplish all of their Football goals( NFL included) except for one that needs intense hype like the Heisman.

The hype, TV , slurpage from middle age men ,amenities, etc...that so called pampered young athletes love is all that has changed.
