For that kind of payday, Mayweather will definitely get in the Octagon. Doesn't affect his boxing career so an easy money payday.

I would hope that the few people that still thought all of this was real finally see the truth now.

Key words here, if it was to happen.

The parameters laid out by the guy (and it is basically just speculation as to what the rules might be if they were to fight in the Octagon) are realistic and would make it an relatively even fight. I don't really care about seeing these two again in some sort of hybrid match, but the guy is pretty spot on about what the rules would need to be to make it competitive and different enough from the a pure boxing match.

4 ounce gloves
no shoes
5 five minute rounds
clinch allowed

Obviously this is still a boxing match with a few modifications. The clinch and if punching in the clinch was allowed might give McGregor a chance, Mayweather would still be a slight favorite IMO.

Anyway, I would not pay to watch it and might not go to a bar to watch it. Do not want.

Connor couldn't follow simple boxing rules.

I'm not so sure his instinct doesn't take over and he uses takedowns, kicks, elbows and knees anyways.

Not sure what this proves, but I will definitely watch.

Tim Sylvia agreed to a fight like this with Ray Mercer. Then he came out and threw a kick, so Mercer knocked him the frick out in 10 seconds.

No clue how anyone would call that an mma fight. One thing that has come from all this, aside being a pretty big dipshit out of the ring, Connor Mcgregor is about as respectable as can be inside it. Those rules give mayweather a decent shot. Connor will be favored, but those rules take away all the obvious stuff he would do. I still thinks he gets floyd in a clinch and then a choke/submission hold standing to end it. Side note randy couture’s style would tear mayweather up under those rules
