McCutchen Benched, What Happened To This Guy?

He's sitting out a whole week to get out of a slump. Not a Pirates fan so I don't see much of him, what happened, he looked to be a superstar.

He was batting over .375 in late August of 2012. Unreal what happened to him.

I wish he would be enough of a team player to realize he shouldn't be in center anymore. He's had a bad thumb all year long, hopefully that's what his issue is and it's not tDecline

Do you really have the expectation that a player should tell the coach to move him from a position? We all know Marte should be in CF but that's not McCutchen's job to switch with him
