you can still see the talent oozing through...it's like watching Jamarcus' talent as a freshaman, the arm strength is awing.
You're right about that. He's got an arse load of potential, all the right tools, and he's coachable. There's a reason he's ranked #1.

This Barkley kid isn't having #1 prospect in the country type of numbers. Not a great way to start off the season. Question: Do they ever change the prospect rankings throughout the season?
You can fault him for the second pick, maybe, but the first one the receiver was at fault. The coverage downfield allowed the pressure to get to him and his arm was hit before he released it on that last pick.

Yeah I saw the first one. Wasn't his fault. Receiver let it go through his hand.

There is nothing wrong with being a 2 star. Jacob Hester was a 2 star.

Nice run. Big o-linemen got down the field and made some nice blocks.

WTF? Cover One? What is Carson thinking?

5* players change all throughout the year, but I cannot remember the last time the #1 player in the country dropped down. Many top players deserved to be overtaken (Clausen, Derrick Williams), but never were. It's like Rivals admitting they fricked up the player they invested the most time in.

Clausen wasn't even the player of the year in California that year, Corp was

Carson is showing the perfect example of using the pass to set up the run.

Did I just see Carson's QB on the punt team and make the tackle??

I'm sayin no one cares about his grades when he can catch a ball like that.
Posted on 9/3/08 at 10:31 pm to TigerFan91
Somebody will see to it that he has the grades.
That was costly right there.
