I went to the Easter eggg thing on Saturday. My Dad's fiance's grandmother had just been put in a home due to dimentia. I found out later the reason she gave me dirty looks the whole time is that she wanted to beat me up for putting her in the home.

My grandfather had no idea who I was.
He can't talk because of his stroke, so he gets frustrated.
All of that put together made for me shedding some tears. He used to be brilliant, and I was always the grandkid that had the beat relationship with them. Just really hard to watch.
