Just what I was thinking too. He would have been all over that one. When is he expected back?

I think Saunders could of caught that ball if he didn't jump on the wall.

Yeah, that was a really poor read. It's really tough to judge the ball though when you are running full speed at a wall.

Supposed to play in a few innings in the minors this weekend, so probably around 2 weeks from now.

I heard that the Rangers' gun at the ballpark is about 2 mph slow so Ogando is bringing the cheese.

That curve is sick even though he walked Cust there.

As long as he can keep it down, it will be great. This pitching we've been seeing is scary. I hope this isn't the peak of the season for them.

Just out of curiousity, what is the Rangers best-ever start to a season? I know this is the first time since 96 they started 4-0, but what's their best ever start?

I think this is it.

The last time the Rangers opened a season 4-0 was 1996. That team went on to win its first seven games.

Ogando looks fantastic, is the plan for him to stay in the rotation if he does well?

This kind of start is exactly what the staff needed. With all the doubt about pitching during the preseason, the confidence they have gained in these first 5 games may very well carry them to be better than last year.

Of course as I type that, he gives up a double
