He has regressed. Very promising early on, but now can’t find any accuracy.
Also, while a nice guy, he does not exude leadership or confidence. Quiet and slight personality isn’t good for a QB.

Wuerffel wasn't a bust. He was a 4th rounder and he only went that high because Ditka bet somebody that Wuerffel would go in the top 100 picks then selected him at 99.

Ty Detmer was 9th Rd / 230 pick who managed to stay in the league for over a decade.

That's the definition of bust.
You'd expect a Heisman winner to get drafted.
Bust equals college promise and glory translating to the NFL.
It's not like bust only equals he played in the NFL for years and sucked.
If you didn't even play in the NFL, you're a bigger bust.

No. A bust is someone who gets drafted high and does nothing. Heisman doesn't have anything to do with projected NFL success.

Not that what I’ve watched hasn’t offered enough proof, but after listening to Greg Cosell’s sobering breakdown on him I’m more convinced than ever that TN will be looking for another QB next year.
Routinely misses spot throws a four year starter should make blindfolded, can’t/won’t set his feet, leaves receivers hung out to dry on airballs, continues to put himself in bad positions (I get that he’s running for his life sometimes, but helicoptering into defenders on the boundary isn’t smart for an already injury-prone player).
Just fundamentally unsound. His recent per-game air stats read like he’s on crazy pills. Wildly inconsistent, and he has good skill players around him.
Nice guy though, looks great on the banner.

Chris Weinke wasn’t a bust - dude was 29 year old 4th round pick.
