Would love to see him in the gold medal game vs the U.S.
Only one win away for each team for this to become a reality. Best player in the world is doing the damn thing.

dude shot under 50% from the free throw line for 90% of a playoff series. It wasn’t til the very end where he got it up to 52%.

Please miss us with the “best player” stuff. How embarrasing for a guard.

His career free throw percentage is 73.5 and Lebron's is 73.3%. So what is the real reason you wont embrace Luka as the best?

This is selectively picking stats and then using it to extrapolate in order to support one’s narrative. Unfortunately for you, the msb is too seasoned for such a ploy to work.

has he earned a top 4 seed?
had he won a playoff series?
Are his stats the best (or even close to the best)?

Nope
Nope and
Not even close

If not Durant, it’s Giannis.

We’re talking about toes on the line the difference between the title this year.

For Giannis to do what he did, overcome his weakness, and come through in the clutch in a close out game on the road, he’s no less than #2. More like 1a

He's 22 (having only played 3 seasons) on a shite team and if you haven't seen his stats then you might wanna look em up.

you don’t get to pull the age card when talking about best player. Best player is best player this ain’t the same as “if we are starting a team today” Kinda stuff.

Slovenia had never even qualified for the Olympics and now with no other NBA players they are in the semifinals. What will your excuse be when he takes a team less talented than the Mavericks to the gold medal game?

There are at least a handful of nba players with hands down better stats. Like not even close.

I still say Durant is the best in the world. But Luka is amazing no doubt. I love watching him.

Regardless if he’s the best player but I may have to root for him over the US if it comes down to that. I like his game and demeanor, he’s on the path to greatness.

The three best basketball players in the world right now, in order, are Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis. All 3 are immigrants and all three love America.

Jokic is ahead of Luka, they are all in the top 10. I am
Not sure I would have any in my top 5.

Luka ts% was .587, league average is .572. He is just not anywhere close enough to an effiecnt scorer of the ball to put him atop the league.
