unless you weren't born in La. I can't stand native Louisianians who pull for out of state teams in any sports unless maybe they're from North or northwest Louisiana which is more like Texas or Arkansas i guess.

Why would I cheer for the Hornets if they weren't in La. while I was? I started liking the NBA watching the rockets before the Hornets even came to NO. I can't see hornets games, hear no hornets talk, and have never even been to a Hornets game. I love the Saints because I GREW UP WITH THEM. They sucked terribly, and I loved them then and now. The hornets have no connection with me now, and they won't when they move to Seattle in 2-3 years.

You obviously are the biggest whiney lil bitch who inhabits td.com and that says a lot. You misquote me saying I said, in some imaginary fantasy land of yours, that the final 4 sucks. You get mad at people for rooting for teams who were in existence before the Hornets ever moved here and you are bitter about the way John Brady was fired. Yep...you were that kid who complained about score being kept in little league.

No, if I ever met you in person...instead of the grotesque shite you just said I'd do, I'd be more inclined to bodyslamming you on the concrete for being such a self-righteous fan policing snot-nosed punk. Stop misquoting people, butt stick.

Well considering La. just got the team a few years ago, then I will have to say I am a Hornets fan, but I have always been a Bull's fan since Jordan was there and still am to this day. I like the Hornets alot but I still like my Bulls.

I'm a Spurs fan and have been since Tim Duncan's rookie year. That was way before the Hornets came to New Orleans so I don't see the problem with my still being a huge Spurs fan. I root for the Hornets. Prolly my second favorite team.

This is barely acceptable.

Point blank: Hornets vs. Bulls in the Finals. Do you wear Creole Blue or Red?

You're a poor excuse for a sports fan. On the list you go.

Don't get sand in your vagina just because I told you you're a shitty sports fan. I don't write the rules; I just state and follow them. You are blaspheming against sacred Man Law. It's your problem, not mine.

Brady went to a Final Four, but you wanted him fired before 2006. Some AD you are .

You are from Louisiana. They are Louisiana's team. Therefore, they are your team, whether you like it or not. It's the law. If you root for another team, you are not a sports fan, nor do you deserve a right to vote in democratic elections.

BTW, Brady won us an SEC c'ship in 2006.

D. Mitchell got us to the Sweet 16 (4 vs. a 12 escape). Tyrus Thomas and Glen Davis got us to the Final 4.

Credit Brady all you want.

No Im a great example for a sports fan. Your an idiot if you think I should have jumped ship on the Spurs and jumped to the Hornets just because they moved to Louisiana. Your a typical bandwagon ignorant sports fan.

Great job, dumb arse.

I root for Louisiana teams regardless of how well they do because they're MY teams.

You jumped on the Spurs bandwagon the year they HAPPENED to win their first title, and you call ME a bandwagoneer?

You are angering the gods. Stop.

not to go to Brady's defense, but I think every team in the history of organized sports got to the next round of their particular playoffs because of certain players. I've never seen a guy coach his way to the title

I'd tell you, but since you're from Louisiana and you say you're a Lakers fan, that means you suck. Read the thread--it's in there.

I guess I'm in that number too. Been a Celtics fan since Bird and giving up a team I've followed for 30 years is hard to just drop them like that. Some of you youngnuts on here are probably not even 30 yrs old for that matter.

With that said, I do pull for the Hornets and CP is a gift to the NBA and the city of New Orleans. I don't hate them or wish them any bad luck but at the end of the day pro sports however joyful, entertaining or hellacious it can be...it's still a business.

Same with the Red Sox...fan since 1978. Next to rooting for LSU, they are my favorite team. As far as the Patriots that caught on when Tommy Hodson played for them then later on many LSU players were added.

It's just the way it is and I like it.

It's not easy when you're not a real man. I gave up the Celtics as soon as the Hornets move to New Orleans was made official. That's because I'm a sports fan in the correct way.
