Yes. Always tough to face left handers at that age.

I have confidence in them. I think the South Lake Charles ace is as good as anybody I’ve seen

With Louisiana's pitching staff I feel very good about their chances. The deeper the teams go the better Louisiana will appear.

I think most if not all teams only have one ace. After that they have very average pitching. Louisiana does not have that problem. With an elite 3-pitcher rotation they may not have to go deeper than their 3 main guys.

Pennsylvania has the best one-two pitching punch I’ve seen.

There seems to be a big drop off with all the other teams from the top arm to the next guy

Who are the 2 he is talking about? Boudreaux and Brown?

I thought Schexy was supposed to be a very good pitcher also.

Boudreaux and Brown have started the past several games.

Schexnaider has allowed only one hit and no runs in his appearances, which have been in relief lately.

Update on teams DQ’d on false positive tests:

Not being reported, but Texas East and Oklahoma filed a joint lawsuit and had a hearing today in Williamsport. As of now lights are still on in courthouse as judge is preparing to make a ruling on if they will be allowed to take the field again, probably hear something tomorrow morning. This might also include Greenville, NC and maybe a couple other teams that suffered the same fate.

Williamsport’s news talk WMPT has been great at covering this. Their Facebook page has a ton of live updates from today’s hearing…

jordan is good, stupid good. He played in the PG top gun invite only and had a triple and 2 runs for the east team. East got destroyed though.

Its funny he is so small compared to the other top 20 kids. When he finally hits a growth spurt like his brother...he will be crazy good.

Very interesting. Williamsport’s news talk WMPT doesn't seem to be fans of the Little League bureaucracy at all.

Oldest posts start at bottom - newest on top

this dude seems like a huge a-hole. how he wound up working with an organization that is supposedly for the kids is beyond me

Park is a Texas East coach

Treat is a Tulsa coach

Also, what's not included there is the Texas coach / team were re-tested by LL right before they received the positive results (from the test 2 days prior). Those results came back NEGATIVE from LL after they were already back home. Sam Treat was not re-tested because he is vaccinated.

The team from Greenville, NC suffered a nearly identical fate. Here is a link to a 2 minute interview with a news station where he explains their exit...

Yep, I am pretty sure I read about that in the comments. Coach Park's wife is in the comments section agreeing with the people who know what is going on and pointing out the one's that don't have a clue.

This was in the the "McClintock" comment:

The comments section is much better than WMPT posts. They have coaches wives who are also mothers of players, other mothers and fathers of players and some players. These are the people who know what is going on. They paid the money and signed the papers that contained none of the protocol that the Little League International is now falsely saying was included in the documents. Even though they can't produce even one piece of evidence of its existence for the court.

The longer this goes the worse it is looking for the teams. Locals have been talking nonstop about the corruption and bad apples at the top of LL.

First red flag was last week when they brought the case and it was assigned to the one judge that was out of the office until this week.

Dude it was never going to happen. I feel bad for the kids but OU was never making it past regionals. Texas east would almost assuredly be in the llws though.

But to think a lawsuit was going to work is laughable. They set the rules and once he tested positive there were not going back.

It sucks, it's a dumb rule etc etc but to think a law suit was going to work after the regionals was played Is laughable.

they tested "positive" in a faulty testing system where no protocols were followed. Proven false positives.

They set the rules, but they didn't go by them. Both teams had enough negative players (all of their players) to field a team.

The lawsuit was not laughable, but the outcome was expected.

I have always been a HUGE LLWS fan. This just shows how they are nothing but a bunch of bureaucratic bullshite.

Their entire case was bullshite, they had to have 2 employees testify, neither of which had any medical background.

They claimed things that were just not true, including the Covid protocols that were their main argument. Then they could not produce one shred of evidence that the protocols ever existed. BUT, everyone else involved could show proof that they did not exist.

This was crooked. This country is going to shite. EVEN LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL.

The really sad thing is that this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Little League does not give a frick about the kids who actually play the game that makes the LLI the money that keeps them rich.

All the players need to switch to the American Legion and other leagues.

Quote from the judge. How can these people possibly be this fricking stupid? The LLWS fricked up. Why not punish them instead of coming up with very stupid arguments for punishing the innocent victims.

It's like "we know the LLWS fricked up but we don't want them to go through the trouble of rescheduling the tournament for the people who were falsely accused of testing positive".

These are the very people that you would expect to have an inkling of common fricking sense.

No doubt the judge took the easy way out.

and LL admitted in the trial that it would be difficult but not impossible to rework the schedule to include the additional teams.

I counter anyone saying it wasn't fair to the 16 teams that made it by saying the injustices to these teams far outweigh any "burden" on the teams already there. Those 16 teams would still be on cloud 9. These teams are devastated for no fault of their own. Not to mention the "byes" that many of those 16 teams received to get there. The same # of teams would still need to be eliminated if they were added back in, just on a bigger stage.
