its for the players, not advertising and all the contracts were already signed when they decided to implement them



ETA: As if thats ever stopped FIFA taking a cut under the table

She never even asked him about advertising. He just brought that up on his own. Sounds guilty.

typical American Football Game:

Coin toss - commercial
Kickoff - Commercial
Three plays and a punt - commercial
two plays, player gets tweaked - commercial
QB calls timeout to avoid delay - commercial
Incomplete pass lead end of quarter - commerical
Punt - Commercial
Drive for FG - Commercial
Kickoff - commercial



You get the idea.





Soccer match -

Game starts - 25-30 minutes later - hydration break/commercial
Game restarts- 25-30 minutes later - half


repeat in second half.


Two commercial breaks during gameplay and people are acting like whiny bitches.



I'm not even going to try and compare it to the last 90 seconds of a basketball game.

104 matches x 6 minutes of hydration breaks
= 624 minutes of advertising
