Believe it or not, as bad as EJ was, Bonnabel and West Jefferson are worse, so that’s two there

Agreed. The only team that concerns me at all is Ehret.

8-2 at worst gets us a first round home game I would think,

We were discussing during the blowout… is Chalmette the most “private-like” school in the metro area? Considering athletics, band, theater, AP classes, fan support, etc?

Meanwhile on the other side of town. They’ll be playing Saturday morning games for the rest of the year.

Coaching and play calling is going to keep them from going deep into the playoffs. The talent is there but the coaching isn’t.

We’ll agree to disagree… I’ve seen our staff steal plenty of games that we shouldn’t have

They also cost Chalmette the game against HC. Chalmette should have won that one

Winnfield vs Lakeview, first quarter action. Winnfield player has already left in an ambulance with a severe leg injury. Lakeview player lost six teeth when his facemask broke.

Lakeview loses two more starters including their QB. Still playing in the 4th quarter because of all the injury timeouts.

My stepson had one called on him tonight. Uncharacteristically he was dancing after a TD and they tossed the flag.

Well we’re gonna be 8-2 at least… but I don’t want to leave it up to the power points because we might have 0-10 Hannan and 0-10 West Jeff weighing us down. We beat Ehret we remove all doubt

Nah

If we think we should be beating HC (they might be the best team in the state, who knows) we should be scheduling a whole lot tougher this cycle upcoming

I mean if you limit the metro to just Orleans and Jefferson other than us… the most similar to us are Hahnville and Destrehan

I’m not so sure. They cost us games and have no discipline on the team at times. There is plenty enough talent in the parish to sustain a good program. But let’s be honest, we get into the playoffs every year because we play in the absolute weakest division in the state. I graduated from Destrehan in 97 and there is no difference in the talent from there to here. They just go out and find good coaches and develop the talent better than Chalmette does.

Franklinton played Hannan

It’s district play now for most, I think Hammond played Slidell?

Ed is a one off and definitely not the norm. Jai wasn’t as good you think.

I didn’t saying beating HC, like it’s an annual thing. I said Chalmette had a chance to beat HC this year and blew it due to some boneheaded plays.

Yeah looks like franklinton was too much for hannan. Hannah’s gotta be in rebuild mode.

They sure did. As long as Thomassee is the DC, can always count on a good defense. Lots of times you’ll get a very good defense with him.

Liked the offense too. This Babin kid seems pretty good. Kind of opens up the offense. Gets the ball to the receivers and playmakers, which they have several of them. Only a sophomore too. Gonna be nice to have him for 2 more years after this one.
