I am sorry but I strongly disagree. Dotson loads up his defense with all the talent on D-line while leaving the O-line without the proper sized players. I hope they do show Dotson the door. He under utilizes his players. It took him half way through the season last year to realize to put Richardson in the Wildcat formation.

I know Central now dresses out a ton of kids today but it doesn't hurt when you have someone that can play both ways to do it.

He is the head coach and has the final say with how the offense operates. Central will finish 3rd or 4th this year in district. I think Zachary and Denham has put a lot into their programs and Scotlandville is a passing team and Central does not defend that well.

Thats more talent than anything. He doesnt do anything with the offense so you cant fault him for that anf the defense is always solid. They really just dont have the same type of players as they did when Sid was there so its a lot tougher to be a great team However last years team and we were probably one of the least talented teams in 5a but we still pulled through and we won district They will do no worst than 2nd in district and wont lose to all those three teams Its an over reaction to call for the head coaches job after losing to a top ranked STM especially since this team is so young but Central has stupid small town politics and a couple of central "big wigs" dont like dotson so he may get shown the door undeservingly

He was almost shown the door before the season started because of some off the field issues.

We'll be lucky to finish 3rd. The kids playing o-line have no business being out there. Play calling is terrible. You can't run it up the middle when you o-line averages 180 lbs. It's hard to run the spread when courville has no time to pass. STM was clearly the better team. Next week Central play Woodlawn at home. I like for central to be 1-2 after next Friday.

Seems to have worked at West Monroe. Defense gets first pick of talent, then offense gets what's left.

Dodson is just a good d-coordinator and that's it. Has no business running the show and Central fans will realize this. Hopefully sooner then later.

Sid for 2012!

Again he doesnt run the offense, and we were practicing the Wildcat all through summer last year, we just didnt show it until district started because we didnt need to

Heard the exact same thing last year and we won district and beat Zachary on their homecoming and hould have gone undefeated in district if not for a load of penalties in the denham game,

Also like i said before they have 3 olinemen that are hurt. Alex frank is well over 240 and is one mean SOB, out for half the year with ashma issues. Connor Raiford is a good player at about 210 and hes almost back from injury but they are easing him in. And thomas garcia is atleast 230-240 an he started all of last year and played really good but he has a back issue.
The oline will be much better when healthy and they will finish they year strong

Seriouly put it into context. They lost to the top team in 4a and hung with them for a while with injuries on the oline and dline and being a very young team. Its week 2 for fricks sake! They didnt lose to a team they werent supposed to. I like a coach that has the balls to schedule a game like that. I love Sid but his job was a whole lot easier with Briscoe Brothers and a load of talent on defense. Dotson doesnt have that so IMO desrves a little more slack

Did any of you central fans stop and think that maybe STM is just really good? You guys had a great game. They were beating sulphur by more at halftime then your entire game. IMO central has a fairly good chance at making noise in their district. Just my opinion though.

I agree, they are a really good team as I stated earlier. I just don't agree with our play calling and our lack of an o-line really gave us no chance.

Btw Will Briscoe tore his other acl and is done for the year.

I don't think Central will pass that test.

Agreed that STM is a good team. I have seen Central play better with better results. Very disappointed with the O output.
