One day the mighty West Jefferson Buccaneers will be on this list. One frickin day

I don't understand how a greater New Orleans school that should have Terrytown, Gretna, and Harvey on lock down can't produce a good player or team while Ehret, who is their main rival and located 10 minutes away, consistently INCREDIBLE.

Don't kids in Harvey go to Helen Cox now?

1. coaching didn't they go 10-0 when tierney was there - and lost to eventual state champ hahnville on a dropped pass?

2. many kids filter to LW and Karr... and private schools...

3. see number 1... the year before hank was there they were 1-9 or 0-10.. two years later 10-0

Ehret had some lean years too kemosabe... but the 1970 state champions is long forgotten in harvey

Even though they're both charter schools, those Jefferson Parish kids aren't allowed to go to Orleans Parish school right?

I was actually shocked about that... I guess since the Swilling duo isn't there, they're not a team to watch....

Hahnville's schedule to start the season is pretty damn tough. If they can make it through 3-1, I would be pleased.

Wk1: West Jeff
Wk2: @ Ehret
Wk3: Brother Martin
Wk4: @ Destrehan

If one of their parents live anywhere in Orleans Parish, they are good to go.

That happens a good bit, there are people complaing that the charter elementary school in my neighborhood (Algiers) has too many Jefferson Parish tesidents enrolled and their children can't get in. They want to check the brake tags of the cars dropping the students off.

I think BM lost a lot to graduation...oh, and Landry Walker is grossly underrated on that list.

It's not about who's the better, just about teams to watch..
