JT said this is the best Curtis team he ever recruited. I don't see Evangel or anybody coming within 3 touchdowns. They have no shot.

Never count that garbage 3A

And those four schools have been winning titles for decades, especially Haynesville and Neville.

WM and ECA have only been good since the 90s

so if evangel's 3a wins don't count....

and North la has not had a "sweep" in my lifetime.... not since 1952.....

add 1981 to the south la sweeps.....

Haynesville is the one of, if not the winningest program in state history.

Everyone else is just playing for 2nd place in 2A. Curtis has skull-fricked every team they've played.. including a top 20 5A team in the country from Florida.

He and every other big time LA prospect.. doesn't mean he'll get them all.

Beckwith could come in and play immediately for us.

looks like 1979.. was a south la sweep...and even a back to back in 1978 and a 3 pete 64, 65 and 66.. meanwhile north lat does not have a sweep in the last 50 years....

Barbe will score 35

Will depend on Cade Stone playing or not. If he plays, WM wins and holds Barbe to 21. If he doesn't Barbe might win comfortably. Big time leader of WM's D at the safety position and LSU baseball commit. I won't make a prediction on this game until I know his status. Either team is certainly capable of winning and it will come down to turnovers. Both turn the ball over. Also, will Shows be in attendance? Will he be 100%? Will the concussion effect his judgement? A lot of variables in this one, too soon to know.

I'm really excited about Xavier Woods vs Trey Quinn matchup. Woods will be a BCS CB. Excited about Desean Smith vs Dylan Burdeaux matchup as well. Burdeaux signed with Southern Miss for baseball. Stone over the top will make a big difference.

Arledge has in the past when Shows was out with injuries/suspension/heart attack. So I'd guess him if Shows can't go next week. As far as taking over the program? My guess would be Scott Stone, OC at WM for a decade before leaving to be a principal. That's just a guess though, nothing to back that up except Shows saying in the local paper he wanted Stone to take over. Said he just wanted to get to 300 wins then Scotty can have it.

Shreveport doesn't pull their weight. Its all about Ouachita Parish in North Louisiana. Minus Evangel before u stick them out as an example that I wasn't right.
