In other news, Jay Watson is out at Winnfield. He didn't do a great job, but I don't know who they're going to get who's any better. The talent isn't there any more and the salary isn't competitive with surrounding parishes. But the boosters think it's still the glory days of the eighties and nineties.

Hadn't heard that term in a while, not sure what year that started/ended. I'll see one or two of them mention that in a story or something on FB from time to time. Wouldn't surprise me if two of them posted on here. If FB posts are any indication though they'd probably be posting on the Poli board
Didn't get in a ton of fights in high school but had a few good scraps, the one fight I lost was to some Byrd guys. Plural. It wasn't a fair fight

I was at the game as well. Kid is legit. Kicker too! Rest of the team not so much.
