Yeah, nobody has seen them play

I saw them once on the Cox game of the week, wasn't that impressed. Central will probably win by 2 TD's; northshore district was not that good.

How did Central lose to St. Amant? I was not that impressed with the Gators. Their best team in years, but not even close to a contender.

Zachary needs a better head coach or they will be settling for just making the playoffs and getting their arse beat in the 1st round year in year out. The bronco's should be better than they are and it's coaching.

how was their playoff history before the current staff?

I tend to agree. Zachary has some decent talent, but coaching is lacking.

Bob Howell got them into the second round a few times.

What can you tell me about Parkway; size, speed, etc.
Parkway is a pretty good team. I've seen them play every game. I have 2 nephews that play for them. The 1 loss to Airline was bad coaching IMO. Their OL has good size, my nephew plays RT 6'2" 300lb, bench 450, squat 900, and deadlift over 700. He should win state in 5A powerlifting meet this year, he came in 3rd behind 2 Seniors last year as a SO. Check him out on 318powerlifting on youtube. My other nephew is the kicker. Rest of OL is pretty big too. Qb is 6'4" and is fast and can really spin the ball. He can throw it about 70 yards. Rb #8 is short but really fast, RB#24 is big and strong. The best WR is #7 fast and has good hands. The Defense is pretty good too. DL has some good size and has not given up many rushing yards. #73 is a D1 prospect. LB's are good a bit on the small size but, DB's is what hurts us the most, they are just too short so if Hahnville has tall WR and they throw the ball alot they will have some success unless we can pressure the QB.The good thing for us is that there are only 2 SR's that start on offense, 1 OL and 1 RB, everyone else is JR and I think 1 SO. D is the same way, 3 SR so they should be good next year too. What is Hahnville's strengths?

So St. Paul's. What's the deal?

Of the 6 5A games already determined, I would rate the likelihood for upset:
1. Hahnville over Parkway
2. Ruston over Ouachita (both road games)
3. Mandeville over Central
4. Byrd over Barbe
5. New Iberia over Catholic
6. Acadiana over West Monroe

Central lost to st Amant because of horrible red zone miscues. They had the ball 4th and goal from the 1 twice in the first have and failed to score a td. Had they scored central would have been up 20-0 at half. St Amant would not have been able to come back from that. Their qb is maybe 5'2 and could throw it 5 yards. Rain played a huge role in the second half. Really killed Central's speed. Oh and one st Amants first goal line stop their first play went for a 99yd td with that big rb.
On a side note, ponchatula is pure trash. Fans claiming we ran the score up cause we dropped 52 on them in the first half. We ran I for most of the second half. Also 2 ponchatula players jumped on Devon gales during handshakes after the game and one ponchatula player sucker punched a coach trying to break the fight up.

If you have ever been to Central, you know that is the truth. They are crude people. Lots of racists and homophobes which will be proven after this post.
