Ok, that would be great idea. Regular season week 2 Neutral Field Non-select Class 4A Neville semifinalist 35 Select Division I Evangel Christian 16

Last year Catholic lost to the 5A state champs. They also lost to Dutchtown 42-7.

And at the end of the regular season, all 3 Livingston Parish schools lost to Scotlandville by less than a touchdown, including Denham Springs, who didn't win a district game this year.

The LHSAA needs to crack down on the eye gauging. JC is just the first to get caught. Fontainebleau kids do it every year, and many others. It's hard to catch but just make a statement on it in preseason conferences.

They need to do what caught the Curtis kid... your kid complains on the sideline, so review the tape, and then send it to the LHSAA telling then what to look for.

Officials had to stay on the field with East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Deputies to be escorted out of Scotlandville H.S. stadium last night as well.

Called J.P. Pierce for intentional grounding twice in succession when he was clearly running for his life out of the pocket. It was like third down and forty or so toward the end of the second quarter.

Called back a touchdown on a phantom block in the back. Would have been 14-6 Martin.

Didn't know the penalty difference between a hold and P.I. It took them, nearly five minutes to spot the ball for play.

Coach for S.Ville had to call time out to set up for a PAT in the second quarter. Officials had to TELL the S'Ville coaching staff HOW to set up a PAT kick, and then explain to them why it was no good (blocked) after.

Does anyone know if there is a site to watch Cox Sports replays? I have u-verse, no Cox. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess.

Bruce Jordan-Swilling goes out without getting to the Superdome. :(
Every soul in that stadium KNEW what was coming on that PAT with two minutes to go. :( Poor coaching, there.

The drought for the Crusaders continues, now, for the 27th straight year, with probably its most talented team in all that time being eliminated.

Bad rule but it was called correctly.

In HS there's no "outside the tackles." There must be a WR in the vicinity.

Sorry for the downvote. That is pathetic, as you say. I down vote the rule, not you.

Yes. It wasn't for long, couple minutes at most, but the deputies were nearby.

We were there, but were in contact with folks watching on Cox Sports and listening on radio. We were told they were from the Hammond area. The P.A. could barely be heard, so had no idea what the man said when he did introduce them.

First time in 31 years that the Pirates are in the Semifinals.

I would love to see Lutcher/Kaplan in the Dome after the way that game ended last year in the Quarters.

How it ended.

I think I was standing by you Redpop at the game. For a 5a school, that stadium was atrocious. The field was in horrible conditions holes everywhere. The refs were a lot to be desired just very disappointing way to end the season. But unfortunately as a Sader, I just knew this would be the ultimate outcome.

Usually in sports, we came up a game short unless it's wrestling and basketball when we had DJ Augustine in the mid 2000's.
