You honestly think that coaching and everyday students at lca are what caused that school to become a literal overnight championship team? Lca wasn’t even a member of the LHSAA not that long ago considering the school was founded back in 1975. That pastor of y’all’s knows how to play the system but it’s coming to a head. It’s well known that kids aren’t going there because of academics. So stop with your attempt at a holier than thou attitude because it’s schools exactly like lca that cause trouble for everyone else.

LCA offers hardship scholarships as does every private Protestant and Catholic school. I do not believe any of those are state-funded. I also know that LHSAA prohibits the behavior you are describing so it should be easy for them to prove and punish appropriately. If there is a program that the state offers that would allow someone to apply for funding to attend a private school, how is that an LCA issue (I do not know if that is or isn't something available)? If that does exist, are you saying no other private school has players who do that?

It wasn't overnight but it was quick. My son played at LCA and they never even made the postseason in football when he was there.

The school was very small and my understanding is they played in other associations, unfortunately, I cannot tell you what they were because my association with LCA started when I needed to find a high school to send my kids to. Both of them have degrees from LSU now.
