Obviosuly ND is the huge favorite here. They blew out every team on their schedule this year and already beat Catholic-NI 37-0 earlier this year. Only Kinder came close to beating them. Does Catholic-NI even have a remote chance here? Discuss.

I doubt it will be as ugly as the first matchup was. I still think ND wins the game but I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s a lot closer than you think.

They're playing the game so there is a chance.

How the hell does lil ole crowley have this much football talent? Year after year ND is good and top of the class.

It's not talent is coaching and the machine. These kids are taught the ND way and taught strength/conditioning training at catholic middle schools throughout Acadia parish.

You can basically thank Louie Cook for it.

I wonder it this is true....I think CHSNI is going to think they are beat before the game even starts. That's how they got that arse waxed earlier in the year and pretty much every year against ND.

CHSNI simply didn't see a defense like ND before they played in September and hasn't seen one like it since.

Although if the game is close I won't be surprised. What would surprise me if it is a close game yet still high scoring. If either team scores a lot of points I'd be real concerned if I were CHSNI.

It’s the system they have in place and the parental support they have. If a kid is a prick, daddy gets em right. That and Cook is a damn good coach.

Yep this can't be overstated....it is huge in Crowley. Really it's pretty big in parochial schools in general.

ETA Although I can't overstate the S&C at the middle school level either. I see if often a pudgy kid destined for loser-dom in 3rd and 4th grade turns into a fairly cut 200lb stud defensive/offensive lineman (in the Cook system) by 9th-10th grade. Now don't get it wrong there are some that are natural athletes when they start school basically but that is the minority in the case of Acadia parish.

They have like 5 feeder schools and the best coaching duo in Cook/Mccleary in the state

A lot of big country boys in Acadia parish and a great strength and conditioning program. Coaches would come from all over the state to film our workouts

Really only draw football players from 2 feeder schools

Maybe a player or two from other feeders but 2 predominately feeders that they draw from

Catholic has gotten a lot better but ND is too strong up front for Catholic. Will be close until 4th quarter.
