Scotlandville won't be phased by a partial crowd. They may lose, but the crowd won't be the determining factor.

If u think that ouachita won't win if they played I'm the championship then Obviously you haven't seen them play in monroe

Well I'm not for a second gonna assume Ouachita beats Scotland in the Finals, because I haven't seen them play...I'm just saying that Ouachita looks like a well oiled machine right now, they just overwhelm teams with their defense! But saying Scotland is better is just silly considering these posters haven't seen Ouachita the last month or so. But with the Finals in Monroe, it definitley has me leaning towards the Lions.

Aug let both games slip away. The guards have struggled with the press all year long and teams refuse to let Victor beat them

Yes, very bad guard play and coaching has been theme for St. Aug all year long. When you have a player on the level of Victor you have to find a way to get him the ball and run the offense through him. He's being doubled and trippled team every time he touches it. He's smart and talented enough to know where to go with the ball when the double team comes. Run the ball through your best player and let him create for others.

That with good guard play good shooters good post play good coaching, and all of northeast louisiana there rooting for them, scotlandville won't win

how are we so sure that Ouachita gets there?

first round Chalmette
second round Natchitoches Central
quarterfinals Jesuit/East St. John
semifinals Brother Martin/East Ascension

Scotlandville has what looks like the easier bracket

Esj is going to beat Jesuit. Esj is an extremely tough out.

Esj is my sleeper pick for 5a. Jesuit always chokes in the second round. Just don't get into a free throw shooting contest and you are fine

ESJ is my dark horse. They can match up with anyone athletically.

Damn I didn't see your post 31. We both like ESJ. I think we talked about it in an earlier thread

Still lost to them on a neutral court

A neutral court down south.

Considering a court neutral when a team from up north comes down south to play is about as crazy as me saying Ouachita wouldn't have homecourt advantage if these two meet in the ship.

Not any "big time" prospects, just flat out good high school ballers and very deep.....and like another poster said, great coaching

And i can't stop emphasizing how much effort they use on the defensive end, theyre relentless
