Ed O would load the team up with talent and undercheive. The guy to come in after him would be competing for conference titles.

The guy who would come in after him would be facing a shitton of sanctions.

We're not hiring a high school coach, especially after the Todd Dodge debacle at N. Texas. His record was worse than Baldwin's

We hire Lewis Cook...I quit

Have you forgotten Cook was the OC back in the Delhomme/Stokley days? Guy is a genius, players coach, wins everywhere he goes and believe me, players would play for this guy.......also would help you guys in the local recruiting so you don't have to go get JUCO guys who could give a rats arse about playing for ULL

But in all actuality, I think he's planning on retiring here soon

If he was a genius, he wouldn't have been coaching high school this whole time. We also are recruiting locally already. We don't need a high school football coach.

I thought he was offered the job before Bustle and turned it down? My high school coach was going to be one of his assistants had he taken the job.

What about this guy? I know he was interested in the Louisiana Tech job the past two times it came open. He knows Louisiana.

I was thinking the same thing but I also heard that both Dooley and and Dykes Blew the selection committee away with there interviews. So not really sure but he has the credentials.

Pretty sure supa was just being a funny guy. Our next football coach is going to be making more than Bustle was.

False.... Had they offered Louie he would have taken it then. Now, I don't know what he will do. Stu graduates this year so he will have coached all 3 of his sons through high school. I know factually he has been contacted by certain people within the UL program in the last 2 weeks.

Very disappointing if true, I don't think it is though.

500k could get us something good, this is the first time I hear that much though. the highest i've heard is 450k. it's just a tricky situation with david walker retiring.

That is what Dykes makes. That is a good number to lure a Coordinator to a head coaching gig.

I think they ultimately just promote Scott Farmer, which would be a good move. They want to have the new AD hired by January, hopefully if it's Farmer he already has his coach in mind.

There is a large group of people that think he is the right guy. Wether I agree or not, I was just letting you know that he is in the discussion and has had a few conversations.
