Tulsa always has a solid offense and they will score points under Blankenship but their athletes just don't match up with OU.
OU is a good team but I want to see their defense against a legit team. Until then I can't rank them #1.

I only saw highlights of the Bama game. If Bama and LSU played tomorrow on a neutral field, I'd take Bama. LSU over Bama isn't definitive in any sense after week 1.

LSU played very well on D against Oregon, but is anyone really surprised about that? LSU had the blueprint from OSU and Auburn, and Oregon made more mistakes on their own against LSU than either of those other 2 games.
LSU didn't overly impress me on offense, but I don't think anyone expected them to either.
Saying that, I think they deserve the #1 nod until they play Ms. State and Bama plays PSU and OU plays FSU
