It seems to me that the CFP is telling us what they are thinking right now. They want #6 Oregon to beat #7 Utah and that will be their excuse to put them in. (And they are praying for Georgia to lose because they know having two SEC teams and leaving out two P5 champions is not going to go over well.)

But like bison I think Utah is going to win the P12, which I guess is bad for the P12. This is the most complete Utah team I've seen since they joined the Pac. If they win the Pac I think they deserve a spot, but it looks like no expects that to happen.

LSU vs UO or OU would be a flashier match-up because of their names and QBs, but I think Utah would give LSU a better game than either of them.

It's funny how before the conference games started it was determined that the PAC 12 is trash, and now two teams emerge by beating conf foes and now it's all good

Isn’t that kind of the point?

It will be an interesting game.

Oregon’s defense is starting to hit another gear. Kayvon Thibodeaux is starting to look elite against the run. He looks like he is getting bigger as the season wears on. He has 5.5 sacks over the last 6 games. Watch him get three against ASU.

Mykael Wright may be Oregon’s best corner and that’s with Lenior getting a 1st or 2nd round grade right now.

Oregon has held 6 opponents under 10 points and the defense is improving.
