Wouldn't they have to get rid of Jeremy Lin's absurd contract? What team would take that shite on?
Could they amnesty him?

He's coming to the mile high
On a more serious note I will be extremely disappointed with anywhere other than Cleveland.

Only hang up is that I think the best thing for him is to be with a 3 and D guy on the wing opposite from him so he isn't forced to expend the insane energy on the defensive end guarding everyone's best player like he has his entire career. Harden surely doesn't fit the bill.
So you're saying he needs Pippen...

Amnesty is only for contracts pre current CBA

Over 200 posts in 2 hours. Going to enjoy catching up. Wonder how big/bad the lifelong heat fan meltdown is so far.

Hell, I think Bruce Bowen would do the trick if you know where one is lying around.

I think the only "real" Heat fan is TigerInMiami or whatever his handle is

If I lived in Louisiana still I would. Actually, I still would but that is as much of a pipe dream as Denver.

Depending on how big of a cut James takes, they may not even be able to go over the tax threshold. And if James takes a pay cut all the way down to, say, $5m this year, then the Heat are only looking at maybe $6m in cap space after roster holds are taken into consideration. They really won't be able to improve the team significantly unless both James AND Bosh take massive cuts or Wade helps out as well.
How bad would Bosh and Wade look if Lebron takes some massive cut and they do nothing? Pretty much how they looked in the Finals, letting Lebron do all the work.

He is a pretty big fan of the other teams there, but I liked him (even with the leGOAT crap
)

I think it's safe to assume Lebron isn't going back to Miami if Wade and Bosh opt in.

I'm just messing with you. I know you hate NOLA.

NOLA has a slight advantage due to AD but yeah.

Yep, no chance.
I don't see Bosh doing that. Bosh could still be a superstar on another team. I see him looking around for another contender on which he could be a bigger focal point. He didn't fit that system in Miami and was the 3rd option.
Bosh on the Grizz or something like that could do damage.
Posted on 6/24/14 at 9:42 am to TheCaterpillar
I could see Bosh going to dallas

I guess who in the NBA has this that also has the talent if not the roster. Houston has one of, if not the best rim defender in the league, a PG who was 2nd team NBA defense, and Parsons who is at the least a good defender.
As a Rockets fan I ask myself a couple of related questsions:
1. Does this move make Parsons or Jones somewhat expendable? If yes, then Lin is an easier piece to move because a team will get a good player out of the deal and a quick fix at PG with Lin for at least a year or two (Lin is not as bad as some make him out to be).
2. Would they want to get rid of Jones more and go to a small ball lineup? Beverly, Harden, Parsons, LBJ and Howard?
This may be the only time Rockets fans can think of the potential so let us have our time
