I thought she handled it pretty well. It was a fair question asking him why he was a retarded quitter in the late in the game

He apologized today...he screwed up and took it out on the reporter in the heat of the moment.
He only made the elite8 because he's black, btw. Sick of this Tourney Affirmative Action.

The school apologized...that was a form statement.
I don't really know what he needs to apologize for, he was just a little incredulous and it was his opinion the game was over.
It's not like he called her baby-cakes or sweetcheeks and told her to go back to the kitchen and leave basketball talk to the men.
People didn't make a big stink when Lloyd Carr went off on Todd Harris.
Harris: “Well coach I know you get second guessed all week long, how come you didn't go with anything when you have two timeouts left in the half?
Carr: “Why would you ask a dumb question like that?”
Harris: “Well, I’m just curious with 44 seconds left with a chance to make a move down the field and possibly get a field goal.”
Carr: [stares for a second then walks away, appearing to smile and shake his head]
Harris: “All right Keith [Jackson], back to you. I guess coach didn’t want to answer that.”

I didn't think he was out of line.

News flash dumbass - people on TV never ever roast a HC unless it cannot be helped.
It's like a fraternity. You can be a mediocre guy on the verge of being fired and they will still talk up your team during the game broadcast because no broadcast will ever admit their game is trash.
