spending local tax money on education trying to better the community is, like, one of the main purposes of a local government. That is unless you think Akron being cool with the status quo is what their focus should be. It's clearly been working for them, right?

This may be the first time where I've seen outrage over a local government investing money into education. Funny thing is, they're not even spending more tax payer dollars due to Lebron's contribution, but no one in this thread cares to read anything before posting their opinions on the matter.

And the vast majority of the students' cost-of-living after they drop out and get on the welfare rolls will also be paid by taxpayers.
