He was incredibly valuable, and he was most valuable tonight, but that wasn't the case for the entire series.

Probably the 3 from Irving, but LeBron's block was epic

I still think westbrook is the most athletic PG to ever play, but irving's offensive game is a lot more polished and sophisticated. the way he can finish and improvise around the rim, his ability to hit the 3, and the fact that he's not as reckless as westbrook. . . he might be the second best PG in the game. hell, he looked MUCH better than curry this series

Yes.

The Block
The Shot
The Defense

All 3 were needed to win in those last 2 mins.

I've been dogging the shite out of Love all playoffs and especially in this series. Never been so happy to be wrong.

Spin-off-

If lebron made that dunk with 10 seconds left, would that have been bigger than the block or the 3?

Bigger? Idk. Probably not (but close, as it would have sealed the game)

More exciting/dramatic/statement making/etc? Absolutely.

As a statement to close out the game, yes. Plus the foul shot that could have made it 6 points had he made that too. It was over when he sank the 2nd free throw, but up 5 and a chance to make it 6 would have been more of a nail in the coffin.

I think so. Curry tried all his razzle dazzle shite to get some space and Love was not having it.

I thought Love played a very good game all around besides that one bad pass turnover.

He hustled his fricking arse off on the boards and on D.

Love stepped up his game last night. LeBron probably told him either play like you're in Minnesota or you're walking back to Cleveland.

They need to trade Love for a couple solid SF's that can score and can split PT.

Won't be able to get all-stars, but I feel like they could get a couple decent role player types that would be better together than Love is by himself.

ETA:

They also need a backup PG worth a shite.

Lebron's 3 to tie it was incredibly important and overlooked, especially since that's the type of shot people used to say he didn't want to take.

If Kyrie misses the 3. They're still tied. So the 3.
