Didn’t want to start another thread.

But.

Lakers were 57-0 when leading after 3 quarters. 1st team on NBA history to not blow a single lead in the 4th

If there's one thing this season has taught us it's that all the cash is in backing the Commies and the cops.

If he was truly a high Iq fan he wouldn’t be playing the I told you so every time he gets something right. That is a sign of someone who hasn’t been there before.

Game 5 in 2019 - 18 millions viewers

Game 5 in 2020 (on a Friday night with no other sports being played) - 5.7 million viewers

This is a titanic level collapse for the NBA.

Good lord that’s a diarrhea drop

Worst NBA Finals ratings in history, by a long shot, due to him being the ring leader of the NBA’s social justice for BLM.

It’s sad to see. The numbers for these Finals are historically bad and he has forever driven away millions of fans.

Quite The Contrast from Michael Jordan’s final shot in Utah and the mark he left by building the league.

They will happily lose a few million Americans in exchange for dominating the 1.2 Billion people in the Chinese market.

Why do people still think they give a shite about losing a few American viewers???

As much money as China has, it is only about 1/9 of all NBA revenue.

US ticket holders and viewers are paying freight for the league and that will be reflected in the BRI when the final totals are done and next year’s cap is announced.

Now its only 1/9. But its potential can be far greater. Which is why they are doing what they are doing.

So now that the ratings are low, now what? What do you win?

I guess because of lower revenue the owners don't get to add the next wing to their mansion or buy their 4th jet just yet?

Then they can move the teams to China.

“Potential” may be greater but the league has already seen how perilous the situation could be between their failed “basketball academies” in the country, closed down over abuse claims, and China freezing out the league over Morey’s comments.

China may have greater growth potential but it is dangerous as hell for the league on a number of levels to tie themselves too closely to them.

Ratings are down for sports across the board save for football. It's the NBA Finals in October against every other sport that's been delayed since spring and summer. This thread is just a circle jerk of the same RWers who called the NBA a thug league 20 years ago and haven't watched a game during that period of time. The overlap between people who parrot everything Trump and those who watch the NBA is nonexistent.

I don't give a damn about Lebron's politics!. It was his tampering and entitlement that made me pull the plug. Sportsmanship and equal playing field my arse.
