Nah, he'll probably decline to participate in Lucas Oil in hopes of a better race

I'm sorry you weren't admitted to LSU.

Really twit? Tech is the #1 school in state for Return on investment. Now GTFO!

Well a lot of your successful donors send their kids to LSU, give money to LSU, and ultimately support LSU more than their alma mater

Plus we're #35 in the country for public universities in mid-career salaries

So we win

LSU is just fine where its at. Combine our successful alumni with the Tech alums who rock the purple and gold on the weekend, and we win

Well that's just a pointless insult, because I know lots of kids who didn't get into LSU and went to Tech

I don't understand why this pissing match is necessary. Both are good schools. Both are tier one schools according to US News and World Report. LSU's enrollment is a lot bigger so obviously that carries over to athletics.

LA Tech is doing damn well for themselves right now, both academically and athletically.

This is a great idea that cost the university nothing.

If LSU had a stock car, the rant would be jizzing themselves. I hate nascar but I think its a cool idea. However, because it's not LSU, it's "trashy."

---------------------LSU --------- LA Tech
Nat'l Ranking: 129 ------------ 201
Public Schools: 63 ----------- 117
Business: 65 ----------- Unranked
Education: 86 ----------- 143
Engineering: 94 ----------- 140
Law: 72 ----------- N/A
Bio Sciences: 130 ----------- Unranked
Chemistry: 76 ----------- Unranked
Clinical Psych: 79 ----------- Unranked
Comp. Science: 101 ----------- Unranked
Earth Sciences: 69 ----------- Unranked

and this goes on and on. Not once does US News rank Louisiana Tech higher than LSU. So......LSU wins.

There's absolutely no reason for any LSU alum to bash Tech. Zero. It's a solid state school and a great first or second option for a lot of kids.

Plus, their admin/alum/fans shite on LSU the least out of the other in state schools.

We also have the #1 internal auditing program, #1 landscape architecture, top tier construction management, a good law school, and we actually have a medical school.

Tech is elite in engineering and aviation, but LSU pretty much gets the nod i everything else. It's not like LSU's engineering program is a slouch either.

Our student body has a higher ACT, gpa, and is more diverse. I'll also reiterate that I am from North LA and know a ton of kids that never considered tech. I also recall reading Tech has one of the smallest student bodies in all of FBS, so we're churning out more alumni, which means more $$

I'm not bashing Tech. I just know it's common for Tech alums to stick their nose up to LSU and irrationally blame LSU for Tech's struggles. there's some truth to that, sure, but LSU fans overall are indifferent towards Tech.

My dad made great use of his Tech degree. No issues here

I agree. I have no issues with Tech, but i'm procrastinating and am in the mood for a petty argument

Tejas aTm had their name on a car a few years ago. Or was it just last year?

Michael Waltrip's #55 car carries the year's champion on their car. And I remember Hermie Sadler having a Virginia Tech themed car in the 00's.

ARCA at Daytona is usually a wreck-fest. Drivers forgetting where the pedals are, ramming into a parked cars at over 100 mph. Great television.

Have you ever seen a bulldog run at over 180 miles per hour?

Not personally, but I would imagine, and hope, that all of your current/future mascots will now do at least 180 mph to get to some shade, or a water bowl. I mean, we can only hope that they understand what it truly means to an ltu 'mascot.' There is a history behind that, after all.
