Upon losing USC and UCLA,
when this happened, the PAC12 should’ve immediately announced that they were looking to replace those two schools . Then, they should have taken the best two schools available. P5 or G5.

Correct.

They wanted OU and Texas.

They were being told they had to take some additional schools with them like Okie State and Texas Tech which the likes of Cal looked down upon.

Passing on taking the little brother schools meant no movement. Problem was that OU and UT were going to move at some point and passing on taking them then was worse than taking two schools they didn’t really want.

Correct. And thats why Colorado left - they were supposed to be part of that package but were not included and were told OU/TX would go alone. So they preempted that by going ahead with move assuming OU/TX were going later and then that fell through.

Larry Scott was the highest paid conference commissioner by CosmoAnd under his watch the conference imploded Should be sued for incompetence.

Is Larry Scott to blame or did PAC 12 teams lose too much on the biggest stages?

You win football games and show you care about it, it covers up whatever the conference commissioner does. Too many PAC schools didn’t for too long

For a P5 conference out west, for far too long Boise had the best football out there. Gonzaga the best basketball, and they’ve seen Pepperdine, Fullerton like 4x, and Fresno State win in baseball
